Default Underglow Install - Sealant for Mounting

I own a 2015 Scion tC and I’ve had an LED underglow kit sitting around for a while that I’ve wanted to install on it but haven’t figured out all the logistics yet.

From what I can tell, my best option for mounting the kit would be to screw it into the underbody. However, I’m worried about rust forming in the screw holes I’d drill. I’ve heard mixed things about using silicone as a sealant for the holes. Does anyone have any other recommendations for sealant to prevent rust?

If you're going to drill holes in the underbody of your car to mount something that was cool 15 years ago...well, just no.

Here's a fix...don't drill holes.
