Default Upgrade

Hi I just got a 2011 tc two years ago. Had to settle for an automatic. I've heard of Scions rattling alot, as well as the windshield. I have experienced the windshield noise and other rattles around the seat belt brackets by the door and the sunroof. I am looking to upgrade to a manual 2016 tc, but was curious if any of these things have been worked out along the way.

I doubt it. The car starts off fine and the rattles just develop over time. I bought my 2011 brand new back in October 2010 and didn't have any rattles. Now the car is very noisy.

Why upgrade to the same car? You really like the tC that much?

My 16 doesn't have any rattles except for the sun roof, and even then only when it is open but not back all the way.
Oh, and the seat backs shake. Can't tell when there's somebody in it, but if you don't have a passenger and the passenger seat is forward, you can see the seat back shake while you're driving. Super annoying.

Of course, I have less than 5000 miles on it so the lack of rattles is subject to change. From what I've read, they all turn into rattleboxes eventually.
