What is your mpg?
yes that would be great info!
people have said it to be a myth. I'd say if it gives maybe 3mpg or more over regular fuel, then premium would indeed be much better for mpg. but idk if it still justifies the increase in cost to fill up.
also i heard that cars using premium will have fewer carbon deposits internally than regular fuels.

Carbon build up also depends on how you drive. A regular Italian tune up does good...aka give her hell.

Haha that sounds fun. What i did with my old 99 eclipse that i used to have before the tC is i added an octane booster liquid (a little bottle) to fuel and then ran the car normally (prob should have raced the engine to red-line like you said). I did this once after 2 years of owning it. idk if it helped or not.
but when using the fuel system cleaner, you should once in a while bring it to red-line to clean it out right? or only do it once or twice initially then drive normally?
So fuel system cleaner is better than using permium and octane boost to do the cleaning out?

Doesn't really matter how many times you do it, just drive how you normally do. And fuel system cleaner with a higher octane is more effective than using an octane booster. Higher octane doesn't mean it is any better, it just means that the fuel itself can with stand higher compression before detonation.
taking her in for my 15,000 miles service. my mpg average for the last 5,000 interval is now 29.5mpg. This is mostly because i drive highway but it includes all traffic and city driving too. car is manual trans.
Standard 2010. Mobile 1 5w20. 95k miles. Roof rack with fairing. 27.5mpg all day mixed driving. The best I ever did was 30mpg while accelerating dangerously slow.

and i learned to trust the cars avg. mpg indicator after doing the math myself plenty of times.
