I just got mine 2 days ago. I love it. I had the 2012 tC and they have made some good improvements. I noticed that the clutch is much sharper gears feel more rebust. I do have one question though the Hi/Lo beam are from 1 bulb with like a shade that covers the bulb partially for Lo beam and opens all the way for Hi Beam. Does anyone know anything about those? I want to re-install my HIDs

 

If it uses H11 like the previous models then you can use the same HID kit
The shutter in the projector fully opens causing more light to escape.
My GTI uses D2S HID bulbs and comes with stock HIDs and it works the same as the new TC.

 

Now available in Canada. Dropped by my local dealer and snapped a photo of a blue one. Will be making a purchase sometime this summer, just haven't decided on a colour yet but leaning towards the grey.

 

I have been thinking about getting a HID kit also. Just not sure about the bulb size. If you find out...post it.
