I don't think anyone would consider you whiny; I would have flown off the handle over just half that amount. Not to mention you are using alot more tact and grace then I would have. I would have already posted this on every car forum Google can find, and filed a complaint with the BBB.

Thanks, guys. The past couple months have been kind of nuts for me. My father passed away in May and I say that not to get sympathy, but to convey how much additional stress this has been adding. I'm already dealing with lawyers, the state, and insurance companies as it is. I don't have the energy to be doing this in California, too.

My car isn't running properly, at the moment. World Racing still has a chance to make it right, even though their higher ups already think they've done so.

I'm not unreasonable. I just want what's fair.

I really hope this works out for you. All I've ever heard on the forums is how great World Racing's customer service is. Being that the territory you're in far exceeds what anyone on SL has experienced, this is an interesting test of just how well World Racing really handles customer issues. I always feel the same regarding a single customer's effect on a large business, but I think in this instance, enough people are watching that a misstep can hurt their business.

Yeah. I think this was my breaking point.

I've been modding, well, sinking money into cars since I've been able to drive a car. I wouldn't say modding because I've done some cheap and stupid crap to cars. I've been screwed in the past, some by my own mistakes and some by others'. I've been a patient person. At this point, there's no point for me to be passive. It won't help others and won't help my situation. World Racing in my opinion is still a great shop and I've been doing business with them for a year now. But, I'm going to do what I can within reason. Going after them in small claims would cost me more than it's worth and I think they know that. But, I'll stop making assumptions about them.

I'm just sick of being walked on while smiling. This is all I can do short of going to the BBB. Like I said, I'm reasonable. I'll give them more chances to make this right.

Sorry to hear man, hope all will get better soon and World Racing reimburses you for their mistakes without the hassle of taking legal actions.

Sorry to hear you're having issues. Definitely hope you get this worked out. And I wouldn't discount your ability to affect the perception of WR. You have, by far, the best privately built tC2. I would think reimbursing your additional costs due to their mistake, no matter the cost, should be covered.

But I'm new to the modding scene, so who knows...

I get your frustration. Although not to the same extent I bet but I still don't have my car running properly and I started in February. Regret modding the car to be honest, But nothing I can do to change that now. Best of luck with your build and hope it all turns out ok and everything gets sorted out.

I ordered the bottom. You can order either all three, the center bottom, or the center top (left and right of the Scion Emblem).

I'm currently working something out with Rob from WR. They are reimbursing me for everything that was done twice. Rob suggested on the phone that I should bring my car to their shop in Pennsylvania to get the EMS2 installed and the car tuned. After some deliberation with my shop out here, I'm convinced that this is the best option to get the car running properly. Rob is fronting the bill on the work that will be done @ World Racing East.

So, after all said and done, WR will come through for me. When this is over, I will happily resume my dealings with them.

Awesome bruh. I can't wait to see what your sleeper is capable of on the dyno sheet. Going to take me longer than you to get my set up. But I'm tired of all these mustangs, Evo's, ect messing with me. I'd like to surprise someone now and again lol.

Very good news, I think that's the best option for you and WR. I am glad to hear they stepped up. Post us some dyno results, I have moved on from the Tc, but builds like yours will keep me coming back here.

While I wait for the transport pick-up:

I couldn't get a hold of the Yokohama AD08's. Everyone I've called has had them on back order because of track season.
These are Hankook V12's 255/40/18. I may be investing in coilovers to fill the gap.

Excuse the leaves. A tree fell over in my backyard.

I was actually wondering how you were getting your car all the way to PA. haha but you definitely answered that for me. Is WR paying for the transport also?

I agree with you completely about speaking up. And I can imagine the feeling you seeing a car you have shelled thousands out for sitting there unresolved. I had/have the same issue with the s13k. After two years I have given up over horrible cheating shops and just a slew of false/misinformation. I hope you get this resolved, because this type of stuff (IMO) stops many people from ever touching a car again. Good luck with the rest. :-)

We're still in dealings, so far. I'm not one to accept things for free that are undeserved. We are working on something reasonable for both parties.

I'm with you on that, Yota. If this had gone worse, as in no reimbursement, no product support, etc., it would definitely discourage me from wanting to pursue/finish the project. I believe that WR wants to do the right thing and will follow through with their intentions. And, if they do, I will happily continue being their customer.
