Default Road dips

There's a small plastic on the engine cover that protrudes underneath.
Do you scrape it when you encounter uneven road dips?

No. Under the engine. The plastic thingy that covers it.

I think you are looking for splash guard that's there so you don't crack your block(thermal stress) or hydro-lock it when you hit a large puddle. i wouldnt worry about hitting that softly but your oil pan isn't much higher up...... how low are you? i'm on Tien SS-P's at recommended drop which is like 2"? and haven't had any scraping.
