NMan you don't need coils. That looks damn good the way it is. Now lets see a few shots with the hood down and the windows up.

BTW what film did you use on the brake lights?

Lol. The front could be dropped another .5" and the rear about the same. I still have wheel gap! Hopefully on the 22nd I'll have my interior done and take a few shots as well as what was requested. We shall see. They will be in my build when I get er done.

Didn't use film. I just took them to a guy and he did them for me.

Some wheel gab looks good.. having no wheel gap just looks bad to me. Perhaps it all depends on how much gab you have. I'd have to see some pics since I can barley tell in the ones you took. I think 1-2 finger gap is great.

no not vinyl.

how my painter did mine
used compressor 15g 3hp with a paint gun
get black and clear car paint and mix those together
apply plastic adhesive promoter and do as many coats as possible (mine was 3)

if you guys can/want to. my guy can do them down here but you would have to ship them to him and he will ship them back. he did mine in a couple of hours. so you would pretty much just be waiting on shipping back and forth

Hello experts, I would really appreciate some advice and input on wheels. I have a white TC2 and I want to put on gold or bronze(preferrably) rims with a bit of dish. Please dont recommend Volk rims, too pricey. I am dead set on 19 inch wheels. As for the width, I have not decided yet. I will be lowering the car, not slammed since I dont want to plow snow for everyone else. I want no gap between the wheel and fender (no tucking). I do not want to roll the fenders either. I will be putting on coil overs. for the 19in wheels would 9.5 wide rub if I lower the car. The tire will be 245 wide. I will also consider 9 wide and 235 wide rubber. I will be staying close to the +35 offset as well. Please recommend me some rim manufacturers as well as any of your experiences for those of you who have lowered you car on wider wheels and tires.

Thanks

btw ur giving way too many variables

so it looks you dont care to be flush? look at wellesley's wheels. he got 9.5 and 35 offset but he is on stretched tires. just roll fenders 1st! otherwise you limit yourself tremendously and there is a chance ull ____ up the fenders while driving. You can fit 9.5 with +25 offset but rub or not will depend on height

it all depends on how low you set your coilovers. I'm just on tein h-tech's and I'm running 18x9.5 +25's with no issues at all. Didn't even have to roll fenders! When I get my coilovers in the near future, fender rolling will more than likely be on the to do list.

^This. Sucks that the car is built there but they have to import it back because it's not sold there.

Uhhh so that's like what JDM is to us. He must be poppin his collar around town. My wife and her family got to live in Japan for 7 years since my father-in-law was based there. All the high school kids got to drive Silvias and GTR Skylines. The bad part was having to leave it behind when it was time to come back. My still owes me a glass top CRX from Japan.
