So I bought a 2011 Scion tC back in October with a ton of stuff already done to it. A month after I bought it a stud snaps literally in half and I lose a lug nut, then I get it check out and another one snaps off while the tire is being put back on.
I don't know if I'm just looking for the wrong thing but it has been impossible to find something with the same length and look as the studs currently in, I would really like to drive my car again so any knowledge will help. Is there any way I can mess
with the spacers (slip on 1") to use shorter studs or am I stuck with this size? Also where can I find studs like these I've looked up ET and race brands but they don't seem the same? Bellow are the measurements given to me by Firestone
and confirmed by a custom Scion shop.
Thread between 87-89mm or 3.45-3.5 in
Full length:95-96
M12x1.5 Both ends of the stud

Reason: typo
All I can find is the Toyota Part No. 90942-02049 which is the stock Wheel Stud. If you have Special or Custom Studs I don't think anyone here can help you.
I think your Best Bet is to take the broken stud to your local auto parts supplier, Auto Zone, Pep Boys, O'Reillys, Napa Auto Parts...
