Tesla Model 3 Aero wheels, these are what’s under the wheel covers.
18x8.5 +40 offset 64.1mm center bore.
Waiting on my tapered lug nuts (conical seat on the Tesla wheels) and hub centric rings to come in before installing. 235/40R18 tires will be going on them.
Currently have 5mm wheel spacers up front in the pics. Thanks for looking!
Wheels fit well, would fit even better with 15mm spacers all around ;)
15mm spacers all around, on coilovers:
That was about 4-5 years ago. Currently on TRD Springs now. The 15mm spacers just poked the wheels too much (for me) after swapping the coilovers
for the lowering springs. Also, I have 235/40s on my stocks for that beefy tire look, and it really looked weird with a fat tire poking out at a higher height lol.
Got them mounted, 235/40R18 Goodyear Eagle Sport All Seasons. I'm happy with how they look on the car. A few things though, I removed the 5mm spacers up front, due to not being comfortable with only 4 threads catching onto the studs, but now the fronts are a little more sunken in than the rear due to the negative camber. Also, by removing the spacers, there is about a 2-3mm gap from the wheel spokes near the hub to the brake caliper bracket. It’s a little too close for my comfort, but I’ll be okay until I get some extended studs for the fronts and finish of the stance that I wanted to achieve. Lastly, the fronts without spacers won’t fit any wheel center caps, as the axle actually extends out past the opening of the bore, not a big deal for me, they still look good, but my rusted axle nut is showing lol.
That amount of clearance is enough, the brake caliper brackets will never get wider than they are. I had significantly less clearance than that on my previous car (that was heavily tracked) between both the brakes and steering knuckle and never any issues.
That being said, with those tires 10mm spacers instead would fit nice lol. I had the same issue with my wheels when I spaced them 5mm after not realizing how short the threads were. Replaced the studs with H&R 50mm's and now I have 17 lug turns. Muchhhh better feeling and significantly safer.
That's a cool look though, definitely unique. Are you throwing the Tesla center caps on them as well?

Thanks for the assurance Drizzoh.
Yea, i was gonna order some extended studs, and that’ll give me some ease to play around with 5, 8, and 10mm spacers safely.
I won’t be using the Tesla center caps, i have some plain black center caps that should be coming today, but any flat faced caps won’t fit onto the fronts right now, due to the axle shaft poking through the center bore a little. Hopefully installing spacers back on the fronts will help that issue also.
Np, these are the studs I put on mine as I don't trust the Ichiba's. Hard to find anything with this knurl diameter but these guys had the best price. Shipping took a while though, I believe they had to come from Germany. https://frsport.com/h-r-1255044-50mm...1-5-wheel-stud These will definitely require extended lugs, but I believe they are available in a 40 and 45mm size as well. These at 50mm took me from 6 to 17 lug turns with my 5mm spacers, if that helps your measurements.

I just ordered the H&R DRS 5mm spacers that come with extended studs (i banged up the old 5mm spacers when removing them). I wish i’d seen your reply first as that would’ve saved me money to just buy those studs and then buy cheaper spacers. I feel the same way about Ichiba- nothing wrong with anyone who has good experience with them, but i’d rather put a quality name behind a stud securing my wheel to my car with a spacer in between. Im assuming the same 50mm studs should be included tho- but i paid $50 more for it to come with spacers (and of course shipping to HI). Thanks for your help anyway tho!
All good. Hopefully that works out for you. The spacers I originally had fit weird with the hub rings, so I ended up ordering custom BloxSport ones that were machined to be hubcentric as well.
Installed 5mm H&R DRS Wheel Spacers (Product # 10656014) to the fronts. The extended studs that come with the kit are 45mm length vs the 40mm OEM length. If anyone wants more room to play with slap on spacers up to 10mm, i suggest purchasing the H&R studs which Drizzoh suggested, which are 50mm length. Im also assuming that the 10mm DRS wheel spacer kit should come with 50mm studs. Keep in mind that you may have to use open ended lug nuts with a longer stud. The kit i installed still fits my close ended nuts.
There may not be a difference in the pics, but i figured i show the passenger side this time. Lol. Also, im more comfortable with the brake caliper clearance now, although it was fine without the spacers. Thanks for looking!
