Anyone getting wet feet?
Noticed this salty leeching stain in the front and rear passenger carpet last winter but thought it was from snowy shoes.
But it got squishywet soon after.
Dealer says I my xA was missing some body seam sealant. Seemed to fix it until I noticed the front staying dry this summer but now the rear passenger got soaked again.
Dealer says he missed a seam. "Seams" he got the whole problem this time. I'll be vigilant as I don't need a xA with its own internal weather system.
Anyone else find wet floors / missing seam sealer?
BTW Car's otherwise been great!

We just had a decently big rain storm and my front passenger foot well is soaked. Any chance you also had more noise coming into the cabin also? How much did the sealing cost? and did they tell you where it was getting in?
they said it was a t afront body seam but I really didn't look hard as to where they said they applied more sealant. They factory invoice said about $450. That was for the front footwell problem. Now I've had it back for the rear footwell at 40k miles and they said it was a missed seam from the first fix and was handled as part of the first repair under the original 36k warranty.
And yes, I did and still do hear road noise from the passenger door areas on occasion. I chalked it up to imagination but... then I had salt stains near the mounting post for the front passenger seat belt, the one mounted near the bottom of the B pillar. Perhaps there is a door seal issue. Been just convincing myself I was nuts. Perhaps do a dark garage with a worklight on the outside of the doors to see any light leak thru the doorseals???

Actually... after looking around the forums... I found that some cars had a hose that came undone, it is under the dashboard/glovebox and was letting in sound and water so my wetness problem was caused by water going through. Then after connecting it all together I got rid of the noise also. If you want to check to see if your car's noise problem comes from the tube being undone... I took a picture that shows the tube which can be found here: http://s238.photobucket.com/albums/f...t=IMG_1203.jpg
