Default Dangling Mirror on XA 06

So, I was in NYC, and accidentally sideswiped a car.. No damage was done to the other car, but my passenger side mirror was dangling. The mechanism to adjust the mirror still works, but the blinker isnt.. and well, its dangling. I've had it tied up with a hair band (ha) but I dont think its going to hold up much longer.

I went to get an oil change today and told the Toyota guy about it. First, he told me they'd charge $95 just to look at it and see what's wrong!! Luckilly, they didnt charge me the $95, but he's saying they're going to have to REPLACE the whole mirror (even tho there's no scratches or ANYTHING) which will be about $225 .. and then it'll be $325 or something like that for labor.

Does this sound about right? Is there anywhere online (I've been searching for about an hour and have yet to find anything..) where I could compare prices for a Salsa Red 06 XA passenger side mirror?

I mean, if I wanted to be all ghetto about it, I could totally just guerilla glue the damn thing, but of course, I wont do that. haha. Any insight would be greatly appreciated...

$325 for labor?!? to just turn 3 or so nuts and plug it in?

unless there's some damages to the frame where it's mounted in.. that's way too much.. on the other hand... a replacement mirror does cost about that much.

Junk yard time! Search for one in your color and all you have to do is take off the front door speaker cover and replace the old one.
