Did anyone swap out their bulbs for some HIDs? I hear a lot about Silverstars, I actually had them in my Jeep Wrangler, but I think I want the HID kit. I found a website cqlights.ca but I am not sure what kit to get. I believe our bulbs are H4 but Im not sure if that is just the low beam or the low/high bulb. Any clues? Also, what do you guys think about the kits offered on ebay for 50 bucks + shipping, do you think the more expensive kits are better or are they all the same?

 

I just swaped out my Silverstars to a 6K dual beam kit from McCulloch and am very happy with it.From my experience you get what you pay for ,most of the cheap kits have cheap parts and are only single beam.

you can order a real bi-xenon kit from these guys for i think $300.

i have high, low and foglights HID's from them on my tc right now, and i love them.

 

I picked mine up from Xenonpros, they carry Philips and McCulloch both use metal ballast, the McCulloch also use an external ignitor.
