Default New spolier

So scionpartspeople.com had black spoiler painted for 80.00 so I finally got one. In any case, thinking about the install this weekend, any advice from actual folks who have done it would be appreciated.

I took it to a friends shop and saw them do it.. They drilled two holes on each side where the spoiler would mount on the rear of the car. Get 3mm double sided tape and placed it behind the spoiler covering all perimeter of the spoiler. placed it on and screwed them on tight, used the covering caps that should come with the spoiler to cover the holes and that should be it. I coulda done myself but it was for free so.. ;)

Haven't done it yet. Looked through the directions no mention of needing 3m tape... was this just for extra stickage?
