I bought my 2006 xA a few years ago and the previous owner knock both side mirrors off and had them taped up (luckily because of that she let me buy it for $800 with just over 84,000 miles on it).
I figured this car was just going to be a place holder until I can afford a new car, so I didn't prioritize replacing them. And now that I don't see it going anywhere any time soon
(whether it's my daily, a project, or it gets passed on to a friend or family member) I want to get them replaced.

So I was just wondering, before I commit and buy a new pair at $150+ a piece, if there are any other compatible replacements that might be less pricey.

Strong enough duct tape and just about anything could be made to work...eBay, CarID, RockAuto, local junkyard, scour the classifieds, etc. I'd say it all depends upon how hard you might be willing to search in order to save some cash.
