I can't speak for any one else's experience, but for me, I've only had to dust the inside of the car about 3 times in nearly two years, and the cabin air filter was loaded with pollen, dust, dead bugs, and a few pine needles in about six months. Let's put it this way: Whatever turned the filter dark grey, plus those obvious things I just mentioned, did NOT make it into the car (or me), and I'm happy about that.

Toyota sells them, any parts place sells them, or, you can make a HEPA one yourself a lot cheaper than any place has them. Go to Home Depot or any place that has HEPA home ac filters. get one, make 3 or 4 out of it and breathe easier...pun intended.
