coolant flush

Default coolant flush

If i were to pull the scion xa up on just front tire ramps can i drain the coolant system evenly or will it only drain a little out

i would jack the rear up just so everything is goin to the front but if you have 2 jack stands put them in the back an ramps up front so you have room just put the stands up higher then ramps.

your only gonna drain out what is in the radiator. you won't get out the coolant still in the engine. a coolant flush machine sucks out all of the old coolant (including the coolant in the engine) and then adds new fluid

btw your xa uses factory pink fluid. do not add green coolant if you just drain the radiator because the green fluid will mix with the pink fluid remaining in the engine and your coolant will turn brown.

I know it uses the factory pink thats what im going to put back in there im sorry im not doing a flush im just changing the thermostat. but i do know that i have to drain all the coolant out....
