I think they all did, including the xB's

My 2004 came with a key fob BEFORE I got the Scion Security installed

Then again, some people i know just don't have a key fob.

No....you'll have to get Scion Security to get keyless entery... xA doesn't get sh*t from the factory...I mean no coolant temperature guage is just rediculous, especially where the automotive industry stands today....

I think scions plan was to offer the alarm and fogs plus a few other things are chips to win a prospected buying to get a car while not fudging the price. Ive bought a few oem parts for my car and they are all stamped not for resale, promotion give a way.

just be careful and not get the '06 OEM alarm and RKE system cause it will not work in the '05 M.Y.

the lady who sold me the car was stupid that
she told me it comes with it
but when i picked up my car, i asked the lady
and she was like oh i guess it wont come with it!
i was like wtf.

so yeah i ended up getting after market remote

I bought my '05 new. The very first place I went after driving off the lot was to a local stereo shop to have keyless entry installed for $120 w/lifetime warranty.
