Default HELP: Fan, A/C, Heater not working

Hello

A recent issue came up with my 06' xA
The air conditioning/heat/fan does nothing when turned on.
The button to turn on the A/C specifically does not light up switching anything
causes no air to blow at all.

Recent events:
* It was working recently, not sure maybe a week or two ago
* I recently as of 9/7/2014 had an alarm put in
* I reset the ECU/Battery reset (disconnected the battery)
* I recently had a NYS inspection (not sure what they did inside the car)
* A hard-line in the AC has a leak and hasn't been addressed as yet, but its
about to be winter here so Im not to worried.

What could this be? has anyone had this happen if so what was the problem?
My suspection is a fuse of some sort. Any suggestions or things to check?

I may have had some favor from God on this!

But none the less here was my process in starting the fix.

There are a few manageable components that are involved in this issue:
-The Blower motor :: the most expensive to repair
-The Relay :: The second most expensive but easiest to repair yourself
-The Resistor :: the cheapest and moderate to repair
-The fuse linkage (I think its called via parts dept) :: Cheap and easy

I) Is there electricity? AC button light not turning on? Nothing on the instrument panel does anything in regards to Blower fan?
-Consider fuses, relay, resistor, motor

II) Does the motor work only when on low speeds? but not on high?
-Resistor may be at fault

III) Does the blower cut in and out regardless of speed?
-Relay and/or resistor may be to cause.

In all of these scenarios the blower, electrical wiring and other outside factors can also be causes of issues.

My situation ended up the way it did because somewhere between getting my car inspected (NYC) and installing an alarm and remote start the relay was removed and thus, nothing was working.

I did however buy a new resistor and install it and have the old (assumably working resistor.)

LASTLY:
The process for taking the RESISTOR out of the XA is EXTREMELY easy.
Literally 3 screws.

1-Glove box (no screws) Pull up once open and then out.
2-Unscrew ECU, no need to disconnect. Put to the left side of foot area.
3-Flex and mangle your body to fit under that area and look for a black thing with a thick black bundle of wires going to it.
4-Thats the resistor, it has two screws. Once thats out TADA!
