Hi,

I installed an afe cold air intake in my 06 xa and now the intake shakes when it's in park and in drive.

I can feel the shaking on the break peddle as well. Why is my xa shaking and what should I do to fix this?

Also the xa does not shake when the original air box is on.

 

how long have you had it in? It takes a bit for it to adjust itself to the difference in airflow

 

It's been about two years and its been like that since I installed it, I just recently wondered that the shaking might indicate something is wrong.

Do you think the shaking will mess with the timing and lead to expensive problems?

 

if it's been two years and nothing bad has happened, I personally wouldn't worry about it.

oh, i thought it was recent. if it has been that long, its probably just wiggling around, nothing to worry about. the stock airbox has a lot more mounting points so its more stable then aftermarket intakes.
