How many Miles on your xA?
#381
A little less than 225k, I've had the little thing for less than a year, bought it at 216k. Replaced right rear hub, exhaust donut gasket, water pump, alternator, headlight bulbs and front wipers. Need to get catalytic converter (P0420 code) and either AC compressor or condenser.

91,000. 2006 xA were the original owners.
Just had it serviced. Coolant change, brake fluid, transmission, and power steering fluids changed.
Battery died an old Sears Diehard Platinum. I had all the coolant lines changed due to age.

First time poster. Have a 05(got in 04). Had to replace both rear hubs(passenger side more than driver). Have some ac issues and the acc fuse seems to be working when it wants.. it's working more often since I got the car back from family and slowing getting moisture out.. but it still isn't working while key is on acc. Trying to figure that out. Have a little under 380000 miles on odometer.

2005 xA.
I have 128,000+ miles on it. All original except muffler. Just cleared up codes due to a crack vacuum hose. Other than that I love the car. Original owner. 2005 manufactured in 11/04. Bought in 05 new. I think the color is called pearl gray???

Be careful about how to diagnose that rough idle. I had a rough idle too and thought it was the IAC. I replaced every hose, and every gasket, the alternator, air filter, MAF, PCV valves and that did not fix it. What it came down to was the intake manifold gasket. That's where my vacuum leak was. So definitely do a good diagnosis first before changing things out. Good luck with your repairs.
