Followed some of the troubleshooting suggestions and was able to resolve this without too much difficulties. It wound up being 2 of the ignition coils had gone bad. Replaced all four and she is running great! Thanks again for all of the great troubleshooting suggestions, they were extremely helpful! Didn't even need to check the codes.

Well, I'm 61 and I thought I'd have my RS 3.0 until it dropped dead or I did. I'm now looking toward retirement and need something that can tow and with under 54,000 and offering it at a very good price I get some bites, but that's it. For one woman not having cruise control was a deal breaker and for another it is too small--it's a subcompact, it's supposed to be small! I really thought someone would jump for this, especially in a college town.

I just hit 150K and my 2005 xA is going strong. Indeed to find a good set of Front Rotors.

Dang!! I thought I had a lot of miles!

I just hit my 153,000 a few days ago, and besides the regular maintenance, had to replace coolant, rear brake pads, and rear wheel hubs. Runs smooth, no leaks anywhere, loving my ride. I wish they made xA's with more room so I can always haul my 5 people (including me) in this car all the time. :D

High five on hitting 343K, bro! You do a lot of freeway miles?

Not all highway miles. I'm outside sales, so I am starting and stopping 30-50 times per day. Most guys that get this kind of mileage are driving 100 miles each way on the freeway. Not me. Makes the car's durability all the more impressive.

Fellow xA owners... I've been out of the game for a while, but I still have some stuff to get rid of: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=225346

My 2004 just hit 214,000, still the original clutch. (highway commuter car)
No real issues to complain about other than the AC compressor dying.

Other than maintenance items like tires/oil/filters/brakes/battery the only other replacement parts have been:
1.) rear hubs - they started making noise around 100,000 miles
2.) cat back exhaust - stock exhaust rusted through (at 200,000 miles / 9 years)

I use Mobil 1 Extended Performance oil at 10,000 mile intervals, still runs like a top and the oil is surprisingly clean at 10,000 miles.

Default 350,000

Cruised past 350,000 miles this week. Still running strong. Toyota should rename my xA "The Highlander", because the darn thing is IMMORTAL. As long as that big goon doesn't chop off the cylinder head with his sword, I think it'll live forever.

Hi All...Have a 2006 xA with 74k miles. I have TRD Springs and Shocks - want to replace rear shocks;

is it advisable to put regular shocks with the TRD Springs - Rear only??

2004 xA has 206,459 miles now and still running strong.
Change oil and add gas - that's it!!
