131357, just looked. Had close to 94k when I drove it off the lot in March, '16. Been through a set of tires, front brakes, and many oil changes. I commute 100 miles a day to work in it, couldn't be happier. Sometimes it seems the mpg should be higher, I think I average 30-32 mpg, all freeway/highway driving. I see 200k in the near future, 300k by the time I pay it off...

I've got just over 160,000 miles now.
For the last year, I've been using my xA as a rideshare driver, working for Uber & Lyft.
Even doing all the stop & go, I still get anywhere from 32 - 39 mpg.
It get's oil change/service every 5,000 miles.

237,000 oil changes, water pump, bracket for the alternator, 13 1/2 years of original ownership. 31-34 mpg. Has needed the motor mounts replaced since about 125,000 miles but until I can find idiot proof directions - I'll live with the shaking.

05 with 143,000 miles.
I'm glad to see some cars on here with well over 200,000 miles as I plan to drive the wheel off of mine.
I use this car for my work commuter and use the van only when there's 3 or more people including me.

That is some serious mileage...any issues to report or is it still humming along nicely?

Still humming. Only issues lately have been replacing the alternator and one or two coils.
Gets me to and from work M-F (South Orange County to Burbank/Glendale, CA).

Rear hubs, EVAP purge hose. the rest is general wear items like tires, batteries, belts, etc.
Still drives great, 35-39 MPG. Switched to Mobile 1.

Default 169222k miles

My silver bullet toaster is at 169222. I’ve had it since March 2016 when it had only 93600k miles.
I’ve gone through 2 1/2 sets of tires, thanks to my 110 mile daily work commute I did for almost two years.
I’ve had the brakes done.
Several oil changes and regular upkeep.
I think the starter is about to take a crap tho...
This little toaster has been very good to me and I’m one happy camper.
(I’ve got a year left of car payments so it needs to last me till I pay it off 🤪)

My 2005 Scion xA has 240,000 miles. Over came all problems except for the catalytic converter and check engine light.

I am looking for the most inexpensive way around it. Other than that it's running good out running all the others on the road.

Rockatuo is the best place for inexpensive auto parts. The xA has a full center section with the catalytic converter as part of it. As long as you're not in California or some other state that has weird emissions requirements, a Federal spec midpipe with cat is about $250 shipped, then you're just having to remove the 02 sensors and put them in the new pipe. All that said, you should make sure that you don't just have a bad O2 sensor as those are much cheaper. Some of the codes that apply to a catalytic converter malfunctioning can be an O2 sensor.
