We needed both cars because we both worked within non-walking distance and in competely opposite directions. I just pulled the Honda off insurance last night so now we're down to one car (but he is in Japan right now so we don't need both cars.. and even if he was home, we live right by the base so he can walk his lazy bum to work or ride the moped.. hehe). Once he gets back we'll start figuring out what to do about a second car, though I think we can manage without it now because we live right by the base.. (I drive 40 minutes to work). I believe we're going to start parting out the Honda, though.. I just need to do a little research on that. Unfortunately the worst part about it all is we still owe money on it. So hopefully selling parts will help with that and then once income taxes come around... we'll see. It's still early.

Yeah, we got our xA with 16 miles on her and changed the oil at 3,000, then every 5,000 after that. No problems with it at all. Due for one in a couple hundred... almost at 20K and we got her in February!

they recommend 5000 mile oil changes so that the motor wears out about the same time as the warranty expires. 2500 mile oil changes and she will run for 300,000+ miles

hahaha! I was wondering what that "R" was supposed to stand for too! I came up with a few things but refuel is probably the most correct answer.

how about Replenish or Refill?

The dealer told me it meant refill. My friend's old E400 had the 'R' and '1/1' too, and we always assumed that German for 'empty' started with an 'R'.
