Default Nasty xA Crash Today!

Oh, crap! I saw the aftermath of a nasty crash on the freeway today.

An xA was turned sideways in the carpool lane, and it was wedged between the car in front and the car in back. It didn't look bad enough to have any fatalities, but it was pretty bad. They were trying to get the driver's door open on the car behind the xA, but it was messed up. The xA was silver and looked new. It had a chrome licence plate frame on the rear, but I don't think it had a plate. The xA was travelling south on the 57 freeway, and the accident was about 4 miles south of the 60 Freeway. It happened at around 3:30PM today.

I hope everyone is okay, and no one from our website was involved.

Ouch.. yah, i hope theyR ok. So you think the xA did okay in the crash, it fell on its side, or it rolled?!

I only saw the back of the xA, which looked okay. I was travelling in the opposite direction on the other side of the freeway. I couldnt see the sides because the other cars were up against it. I don't think it rolled because the roof looked okay, and the windows weren't broken out.

I wasn't looking at the crash too much, because I didn't want to end up the same way.

I admit that I drive really fast in my xA, but I try to pick my spots. It's like driving on the track- you can't make up a lot of time/distance in the slow sections, the biggest gains are in the fast sections. And nobody cares how much time you make up, if you crash out.

Scary. I'd had my xA less than a week when some dufus pulled a "right-turn-on-red" right in front of me (why is it that everyone seems to forget that its "right-turn-on-red-after-stop!?) I almost tipped the car up on its nose trying to avoid crawling over their left front fender. Thank God for ABS....

what a way to spend friday the 13th. I hope everyone was ok, I hate hearing about accidents that could have been avoided by proper braking distance.
