Question about Xa Tires
Hello, this is my first post.
I found in the internet a guy who´s selling his wheels and tires, they´re 215/45R17
here is an image

But I don't know if they will be ok in my Scion xa 2006 ..
Can anybody give some information please, If I wont have problems with suspension or when driving them because they may be too width,
Right now I have 185/60R15 and my car makes 35 MPG, Does anybody knows how much MPG will my car make with this new wheels
Thanks 4 the time and the answers !!!

Ask to see if the lug pattern is 4X100. If so, they will fit, however you will have to buy rear spacers (CNC'd spacer is the way to go = $50).
As for MPG, yes it will go down. I cannot say exactly how much, but most likely at least 3-5mpg (so about 10-15% loss in fuel efficency). To me, its not worth it.... no matter how much the wheels cost... even if they are free
Good luck with that.... personally, I'd be keeping an eye out for some nice 14-15" alloy wheels, maintain/get better mpg.

More credence, talk to this guy:

I'm a firm believer, our cars(1.5L engine) wasn't designed to be in use with 17"+ wheels. A 16" wheel is pushing it. A Volk TE-37, 16" weights 11.2 pounds.... thats the right way to do it, but most 16" wheels weight at least 15-16 lbs.
Good luck.

Tire Width
Yours: 7.28"
Theirs: 8.46"
Tire Wall Height
Yours: 4.37"
Theirs: 3.81"
Overall Diameter
Yours: 23.74"
Theirs: 24.62"
You'll want to verify the bolt pattern and the hub offset of course. Any change in MPG would probably be offset by the larger diameter wheels, so you won't know how accurate that change is.
