Scion xA faster then Evo 8
So, I haven't posted here in a long time.
I joined a car enthusiast club in dc, for bmw's. I don't own a bmw and there are tons of members who don't. Just a lot of people who like cars.
Recently we had our first points event autocross - in the rain. My first autox ever. With the lowest HP I was just hoping not to get last. Then I saw a minicooper S and knew I had to beat it.
My xa is an 06 with all the trd suspension goodies, trd filter, trd exhaust, and dc sports strut tower brace. Oh, and staggered 17" wheels with 205 and 215 running 35 and 40 series. Did I mention it's an automatic commuter car ;)
Tons of fun. Next event will hopefully be in the dry. Summit point skid pad May 2. Registration open to everyone. Better sign up quick though, everyone had so much fun (watching a M5 spin out in the mud!) that I am sure everyone will be returning and telling their friends.
The numbers in my class from me on down (note: I came in 25th out of 37)
06 scion xa 68.82 seconds
