well, i got my 06 scion xA in early july and ive been in love ever since. Lately though, its been giving me some problems . Sometimes when i go to turn it on, it will just chug and turn over the first time, so i stop, and ill try again and it will turn on with no problem the second time. i took it to the dealer and they couldnt find anything wrong with it in the couple hours they had it, they asked me to bring it back for a full day but i havent had the time to yet, any idea what it could be? thanksss!

 

is it particularly cold where you live?

 

not really.. i live in florida. its been a little cooler lately, but i think the lowest its been is like 46ish but it was warm again the next day.

 

i've had the same problem with my 06, and it doesn't even have to be cold out.

 

I've had it happened to me a few times where it didn't start the first time but the second time it starts right up. It doesn't happen often but every time i'm like ."what the eff...". I don't live in the cold either, so who knows.

 

yeah idk whats wrong with it and its starting to get really old. im taking it in on monday so if they figure out whats wrong with it i'll let you guys know. thanks for the replies.
