Which is your guy's recommendation for the best sounding tailpipe on the xa?? What should I buy??

 

...i have an xb.. but i got the TRD one.. for a couple reasons.. mellow sound. doesnt sound ricey.. and i live in CA and its smog legal.. and really easy install like mo st cat back systems. . but for xa. im sure its the smae

 

well this is going to be my fault, I work at a car dealership in PA and I have drvien many scions with the TRD tailpipe on there and it does sound good, but I am looking for something maybe a little bit louder other than the TRD. Thanks anyways. Oh the TRD sounds good on all the scions especially the tc but that doesnt matter.

 

i'm thinking about getting the strup, i heard its pretty loud, but i want it loud so the hondas will hear me.

 

I have the Borla axle-back on my 06 xA...and I love it. It's noticeable when you first start it up, and when you give it some gas - but at highway speeds it's not too loud at all (depending on how loud you have the music going). It is NOT bees in a coffee can.

I had a custom exhaust shop just replace the muffler with straight pipe and a magnaflow tip. It bolts right up to the flange near the axle. I can replace it with the stock muffler anytime. I am actually quite happy with the sound. It looks great and it only cost me $177, it would be cheaper but the 4" Magnaflow tip was $60.
