Default xA headlights burnt out

today BOTH my bulbs were burnt out. about 3 months ago I've just changed the bulbs to an aftermarket one, they were very bright and I love them.
Do any of you guys know why both bulbs would burn out at the same time?
any response or advice would be greatly appreciated, i can't even drive at night right now.

I'm no expert on headlights, but did the aftermarket bulbs use more wattage than stock? I've heard that is a bad thing to do without upgrading your wiring harness. Sorry Dont know if that helped any....

And yeah, Luminics are great bulbs and cheap!

a trip to your local walmart, target, auto parts store or whatever would solve the problem. what did you do with the old ones? put those back in. what brand were they? mightve been crap quality so they didnt last long. did you touch the bulb while putting them in?

if u havent replaced em yet it could be something more serious, did u take one out to see if it was burnt out or just not working anymore?

Do yourself a favor and find out WHY the fuses blew. You don't want a fire !!!
As mentioned by GloriousMidget,
do these bulbs use more wattage than the stockers ???? I'll bet they do and that was the cause of the fuses blowing.

Yup.

The fuses are there to protect the WIRING from overload, and if the fuses blew you are likely sucking too much power through the wires.

It doesn't take all that much heat from an overloaded wire to cause problems, especially when bundled with other wires. When bundled with other wires the heat can't escape easily and the insulation on the wires in the bundle can melt/burn, which can ruin your whole day...
