I just looked on Scion's homepage and the posted msrp for a manual xA is $13,245. Didn't it used to be $12,480? What's up with that?

those new mirrors, and a few other things.

 

The xA has always been the dud of the Scion line. An interesting fact: Toyota thought that it would be the sales leader, and that the xB and tC would be niche vehicles; although it has turned out that the opposite is true.

The xA moves up from the bottom with a lot of tC features.
-turn signals on mirrors
-steering wheel audio controls
-side and side curtain airbag availability
-auto on/off headlamps
-revised stereo/ availability of iPod integration

These are little things, but on my tC they make all the difference. I used to think the xA was okay, but now it is much improved. I would pick one over an xB with the new features.

It also has new grille and rear taillamps, but I'm sure we all noticed.

 

why is this in the xB forum? Each year the price changes. I forogot why but I guess it gets more stuff.

 

Actually the price you are looking at inludes the $515.00 delivery charge that is on every xA....

Now there was a price increase of $200.00 even and here is what you get!!

1. Upper/Lower Grille-Honeycomb (like tC)
2. Lower Intake- More Aggresive design
3. Headlamps- Detail Changes (eyebrow added)
4. Rocker Panel-Color keyed
5. Turn Signals-In mirror (like tC)
6. Tail Lamps-Re-Deisgn
7. Lower Bumper Color keyed now
8. Wheel covers-Three new wheel Covers

Not bad for $200.00!!!

 

isnt there extra airbags in the scions and you forgot the steering wheel controls

Every single part that fits on the 03-05 xB will fit on the 06 xB, seeing its only the radio that changed. If your talking about a xA, then it should be the same idea. Only the bumpers & things changed, not the frame of the car.
