06 and injen intake! fitment?

Default 06 and injen intake! fitment?

Anyone have any problems with the injen intake fitting the 06? i had one thing that didnt clip on. but i made it work. just wanted to no if anyone else had a problem?

I didn't have any issues with fitment (excluding the fog lights). The only issue I had was exagerating the already infamous rough idle.

The VSV is the only difference on they 06 models from previous years. It now screws in instead of clips on, so you just need to find away to screw the VSV into the L bracket.

dude, that screw was a b*tch no joke, i used a vice grip to get it off. but ya no issues checkit.
ill try to get you a pic of what i did since i didnt have the L bracket might change it up or secure it with a zip tie.

For the VSV I bent the bracket they sent at a 90 on the end. Went to the hardware store and bought a screw just slightly shorter than stock.

something's wrong with your installation. There's no rough idle, and no issues with forg lights.

ya and you forgot to clamp the hose on the vsv the vertical one is way off

As far as the foglights go, it's a tight fit. There are a couple of threads mentioning that.

You got me there. Should have had it all done before I took out the camera.

Sorry to sidetrack you NastysxB. There were no real problems. Just make sure everything is seated well. Have fun with the box!

yea i just used a screw and mounted it in the bracket. it all worked out. just wanted to give all the 06 guys a heads up!
