120mph in the xA...as soon as it hit 120 it starts slowing down

 

I hit my speed wall at 122mph.. but it still creeps up, just waaaaaaaay slowly, gets to 120 fairly quick

 

hmm lots of suspension mods and I don't think the box is safe at that speed.....but to each their own

 

My box does pretty well up at those speeds.. I'm happy with it

I hit 147 once in my ex-police caprice.. that was hairy!!

 

I mean it is stable possibly...just not sure of it...183 with more pedal in a twin turbo Auto Konig 308...now that was hairy LOL

 

i got my mountain bike up to 40mph.... hahaha

 

I personally enjoy going through a cone slalom or offset at about 40mph in second gear more than hitting 127mph on a highway. I always got... an empty feeling. "Okay, I'm going at top speed... and all I feel is fear that I'm going to hit a deer and resentment about how much gas I'm using."

I'd rather watch James May hit the top speed in a Veyron than hit the top speed in a tC myself.

true.. I really want to autocross the box.. I even had to fight a little to get it okay'd, but I havnt yet..

 

LOL ok I had a worked Conquest TSI same car about 250hp or so and yeah that was a high speed cruiser

 

drove from biloxi, mississippi to atlanta in the box a month ago and hit 130 between mobile and montgomery...took me 3 and 1/2 hours to go 400 miles

 

you got something wrong with your car then...the 5spd is only geared to go about 127 and the automagic would be at redline by then and btw wtf were you doing fuxin with your camera in triple digits!?

 

ive been to 120 a few times on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. its pretty easy to get up to that speed. i even did it with 3 other people in the car screaming go faster. by the end of the month i'll get a video posted doing it cause i got another trip planned for the end of the month.

 

At my first racing school, the instructor asked me how fast I was going down the long straight on the track.

"Oh man, I think I saw it get up to 105."

"What the hell are you doing looking away from the road when you're doing 105 miles an hour?"

It was a pretty deserved verbal flogging when you think about it... so I'll say the same to you.

WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING LOOKING AWAY FROM THE ROAD AND MESSING WITH THE CAMERA ON YOUR PHONE WHEN YOU'RE DOING 122 MPH?

i feel i should correct myself tho...i don't call bs to130 in spite of the pic but because of it even on the speedo he is only going ~120
