It is possible to make cams for variable cam timing and make power they have done it on the evo with mivec. There is no need for a cam controller if the cam is made correctly. It is just a little more complex so the cost to make them has to be justified. I am now in the process of talking to several companies to make some. I am in need for my shop car so i figured i would get several made to sell. Nothing definate yet but in the works. Will post soon as i know

 

If u eanna do cams for the 1nzfe motor, ur gonna have to do custom grind. And yes the intake cam can be done as well. And for valves/springs go to shop.microimageonline.com amd there's a valve kit u can by. Its under the yaris. Since the echo/yaris/xb/xa use the same exact engine and parts
