Hey all. I just picked up my 3rd 1st gen box. It has some issues tho.

sometimes 50% of the time on take of it will clunk pretty hard from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. But not always.

I also noticed if I put in in L or 2nd it will take off but will hesitate really bad and cut out. When I switch back to D it goes fine. Any ideas?

no check engine lights are currently on just checked.

 

How many miles? How's the fluid look? Might want to drop the trans pan, change filter and fluid to see if that helps. These transmissions are pretty stout.

 

sounds like low or old fluid.
