aFe Intake
Ok, I searched through posts looking to see if anyone has experience with the AFE Intake, and I found none.
Does anyone have this intake on their xB and if so, are you happy with it?

Thanks.

I helped my brother in law put one on his truck. It seems like a pretty solid unit. He is happy with it and claims he gets better throttle response but can't tell if t he performance is better. Usually CAI's give you better throttle response. Anyway when I was helping him (read me doing work, him drinking beer) it seemed like a good quality piece.

Does anyone know if these cold air intakes help fuel economy compared to stock, everything else being equal?
Thanks.
In theory yes they do help fuel economy, but when most people put one on they floor the car every chance they get, once the novelty wears off and you start driving less like a jack hole you notice the mpg come up.

That's why I said everything else being equal. I am really looking more for mileage than performance. I drive very conservatively.
I'll make a decision soon.
Thanks.
I have the Stage 2 on my XA and I have no problems with it. It is the exact same intake for the XB, but it looks somewhat stock and noticed a change in torque. I can't tell you about the XB stage 1 since it is specically for that.
