Default air box removal

when you remove the stock air box, are there any sensors that are connected to it?. i kno that there is one plug with a bunch of wires but i think you can just unscrew it. the same goes for some other cables. im asking this because i was thinking of taking off the box and putting a cone on the end.

Your MAF sensor is mounted in the air box, you must install it before the throttle body for your engine to run correctly. Look at the aftermarket intakes for an idea on where it will need to go.

just remove the lower half and zip tie the stock filter to the top of the air box. i did that. i cant afford an intake, but im not worried about the ghettoness of it.
