Default Anyone have this problem or have any ideas?

I have a gen1 that I bought brand new in march of 06. I have had all of the oil changes done at the dealership up until the last two. I currently have just over 63k on it. The first time I changed the oil by myself, I was kinda rushed and didn't have time to inspect the undercarriage. The next time I changed the oil, two days ago, I noticed a crack on the underside of the tranny. The crack starts at where the seal for pass. side half shaft goes into the tranny. The crack is about an inch long and looks like it has been there for a while. I contacted Scion and they told me that since the powertrain warranty is good till 60k, this wont be covered. I became upset with the person on the phone and told her that there is no way that this crack just happened. She then told me that I could take it to the dealer that has seviced my B since day 1 and they can determine if it could be covered. Does anyone have any suggestions?

if it aint leaking, dont worry about it. Think of it like an ugly scar ... may not look nice, but if you dont see it and you can still function just leave it alone.

If you really want to be sure, then maybe force some JB Weld into the crack .. but i would leave it alone as it appears there are no leaks.
