Clutch action seems high up the pedal?
The xA clutch pedal has always seemed to feel different.
When depressing the pedal, it releases the clutch very early in the throw, where the pedal is still very high up. The rest of the pedal depression is just wasted motion.
Of course then it engages when the pedal is nearly all the way out. Thoguh the clutch is not slipping, it gives the impression like I'm at the end of my disc thickness.
Done this since day 1.
Its just that I've had German and British cars and they've always used the bottom of the throw, not the top like my xA.
Is this typical for Toyota?

all cars are different.
let me repeat ALL CARS are different. as it is true as the disc lining wears down it will catch higher and higher up but all cars are different in where in the pedal position it starts to engage/disengage
