Default Compatible Parts List?

I've posted in the Canadian forum with no response, so I thought I'd try here.

Having a Scion here in Canada will be a challenge for me when it comes to DIY maintenance.

Is there a list showing compatible parts for the XB but under another model ie. Echo, Corolla, or Celica etc.

I would say the Echo is your best bet. It had the same engine. I know for a fact that the cabin air filter for the Echo is the same for the xB. As to a list---have not seen. Can you not just order a part from a US dealer?

Taxes, duty and brokerage fees to cross the border is expensive.

I'd suggest getting a Scion parts book, if possible. It seems unlikely to me that Toyota would assign different numbers to the same parts for different vehicles. So if a Scion part # is XYZ, then punching that same number into the computer at your local toyota dealer should give the same part, or nothing at all...

As has been said, a large % of Echo parts should fit...

It's common Canadian knowledge that the US got the better end of NAFTA.
