I need some people to confirm that their box does or does not do this. Whenever the temperature outside is at all warm and the ac is on the "loud" cooling fan will cycle every 10 -15 seconds. On for 10 seconds, then off for 10 seconds, then on ...... you get the idea. Its mostly quiet when i'm actually moving but as soon as i'm at a light or parked with it idling its constant.

p.s. new guy here, owned my 2006.5 white box for 2 months now and love it. etc etc

What part of the country are you in?

Since the box has a transverse engine it has no "regular" belt driven cooling fan. It's all electric fan power to keep your baby from cooking. The fan is controlled by temperature switches on both the engine's cooling system and the A/C system. Whenever you are stopped there is no normal airflow over the radiator and condensor unless the fan is on. It probably is cycling so often because of the A/C high side temperature. If so, all is normal, exspecially since it seems to go off once you start moving. I wouldn't worry about it, my box does it all the time too. I would actually be worried if it didn't cycle regularly. Hope this helps, and you can allways turn up the radio if the sound bothers you
