I'm sure duck_dodgers did mean the MAF. The Fujita has the MAF before the oil vent tube (same as stock), the Top Fuel has the MAF after. So, in theory, it will eventually get gunked up by oil particles coming through the vent. Most of the intakes that have the MAF downstream of the oil vent have a filter on the tube but I'm not seeing one in these photos.

why is that?
because of were the valve cover return line is.
our little 1.5 doesn't push any oil back.
you realy only have to worry about that with forced induction.
thats why i think oil catch cans are (for looks only) not needed.
don't take my word for it ............ put an oil catch can on and see if you get any oil in it.
i have the injen SR and the return line is in the same spot as this guys new intake is, ive had it on there for over a year and my MAF (i checked a few months ago because i "was" concerend) is bone dry.

Boost will amplify it but put some more miles on the motor and the same thing will happen, if I pull my tube there is oil in it. Next time you go by the auto parts store grab a can of MAF cleaner so you can blast it off once in a while it is easy to do. BTW intake looks killer but it is a shame that all the good bits are hidden!
