i would most techs... will say 30,000 miles some say 20-25k... i
will change mine every 15k just cause i do alot of city driving and plus sometimes not having the right people using my car. try using royal purple tranny fluid i noticed smoother shifts and easier to shift into reverse on cold starts.

Yeah.. like he said.. the norm is 30K miles, but the option to do it every 15K is there..

new fluid, as often as possible, keeps all these things like
new.. up to you
but definatley do it at every 30.. so.. yes.

any special weight recomended for Royal Purple or Redline Tranny Fluid?
i just crossed 40k this past weekend, and this thread reminded me how i need to baby my "baby"
i have been very good about all the other maint, but damned if i didn't forget all about the trans..i push the tranny hard, any recomendations? I know people recomend Royal Purple and Redline, are they about the same quality wise? whats the recomended fill amount just shy of 2qts? sorry i dont have the spec handy. if no one knows off hand, i'll use the "search" and find it before i go to buy oil.
thanks!

If you search MT-90 there is a thread that has all of that info mostly on the redline MT-90. Thats what I have been running and it has been good so far.

I'd change it after the first 15,000 miles. Then every 15k-30k thereafter. I'd do it based on how the shifting feels and the look of the oil at your 2nd change. If it shifts ok and the oil looks pretty clean on the 2nd change, then make the interval longer.

I changed at about 12k because it started getting a little difficult to shift. Wouldn't go into 1st quickly after idling in neutral at a light. Missed a couple 1-2 shifts because it was more difficult to get in gear, especially when cold.

Yes, 75w-90 is the correct spec, it's in the back of your owner's manual.
