I see allot of people now painting there Valve/engine cover here. I really want to do this but I am not sure if I should get it done or do it myself. Anyone have any experience with this??
I did order the Toyota color code paint can of my car
thought taking it off and giving it a few coats would do the trick. Maybe I should put on a primer 1st.

Putting exterior paint on a valve cover will make it bubble up and burn off. The valve cover heats up very quickly and stays very hot. Are you talking about the valve cover itself, of the plastic cover over the valve cover that says VVT-i??
You want to paint your valve cover do you? Well... here ya go:

Note: What clear coat do you recommend. I will get it. Can I get them at Pep Boys??
