Default idle timing screw

does anyone know if there is an idle timing screw that adjusts how much the butterfly is open in the throttle body at idle?? my 88 corolla gts had one and i could adjust the idle that way, i want my idle up about 200 rpms, its kind of low and dips periodically

I beleive timing is all done by the ECU... man life would be so much easier if it it was done by a screw thou.

There is a screw that adjusts the idle speed , not the timing, if thats what you mean.
but it also means an adjustment to the TPS.

the ghetto way is just tighten the throttle cable a little more

Idle speed is controlled by the computer by bypassing air around throttle using an electrical valve. If you adjust trottle stop screw it will change signal from the trottle position sensor and you dont want to mess with computer inputs. So basically this is not how idle speed is corrected. Besides that the transmission will be affected also (auto or manual - doesnt matter)
If the car has a problem with idle then try to find the source. Like a vacuum leak, loose air ducts, bad idle speed motor etc.
