i was curious, where should the xA be idling at a stop? i used to idle around 1k-750 depending how cold it is but i've noticed its been going lower and lower and now im down to 375and450-500. i have fresh oil, my tranny oil is good, so are my sparkers, and no CEL's. it also starts to idle rough when it get round the 3-4 hundred range like its about to stall. ive been told this has something to do with my throttle body, and maybe needing to clean it, but idk.

i cleaned my MAF and throttle, tightened my throttle cable and reset my ecu. it seemed to do the trick. i think the MAF made the biggest difference because it was insanely dirty.
you have a drive by cable throttle body, which means there should be an idler screw on the throttle body so you can adjust how open or closed it is at idle. so you can open it up alittle to bump up the idle a few rpms.

are you sure that isnt just a coincidence? i know a new battery can make your car start up cleaner and smoother, but not help it while running? the alternator takes over after you start up the car so the load is off the battery.
yes, i noticed my maf caused a plethora of idling issues until it finally went out on me and i was throwing lights and had a 3000RPM limiter while driving. That MAF can be one cranky piece of ish.
This is true for the most part. However, if a battery is bad, it can require more energy to maintain a charge. Not likely to happen though and still be able to start the car.
