Look whats under my hood...

Quality, craftsmanship, looks, sound.....all good. Your description of performance is "pretty good". Not knockin' or hatin' but Im hoping for alot in the performance dept for 600 bones. I'm not for open hood showing, revving for sound, etc. I will shell out the 600 of it makes a decent improvement in power no doubt about it.

These are worth the money. I dont have dyno numbers, but I can tell you that it is worth 600 and it definetly pulls a lot harder now. Also, I have always gotten horrible gas milage with my car so I am not the prime candidate to talk about MPG. I got about 20-22 before installing this, and for some reason I am getting about 25 now. Something must be wrong with my stock intake manifold because this should not/will not improve gas mileage.

I'm considering this, but it's a bit low on the list right now. $ / performance, I still need to get:
- pistons sent out for coating
- connecting rods
- bearings
- boost controller
- Greddy intercooler upgrade
Maybe after that, if they're still available. I'm wondering if the turbo intake tubing would need to be modded since right now it bolts to the stock mani.

We have seen anywhere from5-7 HP and 5-8tq at the wheels. You have to remember this is a XB a 1.5L motor. It is very hard to pull N/A power out of this motor. I remember a guy spent thousands on head work and other mods to only get about 12 hp. Even forced induction it is very difficult to make HP. without a great tune and a built motor.

We could go harass Paul to get Dezod to release a plug-n-play AEM EMS for the 1NZ-FE like they have for the 2AZ. Not sure if they'd put in the R&D for a low volume item but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Maybe they could use yours as the test car xa007xa.
Oh, and I finally ordered rods, but will probably be going with a Dezod IC used on the 365 Motorwerks kit instead of the Greddy IC. Just need to mod the turbo to IC piping to fit my turbo.

Yeah, was looking at the 36" oil feed from Dezod as well, just need to verify the fitting sizes. xB has the luxury of extra room under the hood for piping rerouting. Also, on the vertical IC, inlet and outlet face the driver side so no mucking with the washer fluid reservoir or worrying about getting too close to the belt.
