Quality, craftsmanship, looks, sound.....all good. Your description of performance is "pretty good". Not knockin' or hatin' but Im hoping for alot in the performance dept for 600 bones. I'm not for open hood showing, revving for sound, etc. I will shell out the 600 of it makes a decent improvement in power no doubt about it.

I e-mailed Weapon-R a while ago asking about these, they never responded...so they do actually plan on putting these into production??

These are worth the money. I dont have dyno numbers, but I can tell you that it is worth 600 and it definetly pulls a lot harder now. Also, I have always gotten horrible gas milage with my car so I am not the prime candidate to talk about MPG. I got about 20-22 before installing this, and for some reason I am getting about 25 now. Something must be wrong with my stock intake manifold because this should not/will not improve gas mileage.

depends on how heavy your right foot is on the gas really.

About the MPG, im getting the exact same MPS's now as i did when i was stock. I think it might have something to do with our "intelligent" computers...

We have seen anywhere from5-7 HP and 5-8tq at the wheels. You have to remember this is a XB a 1.5L motor. It is very hard to pull N/A power out of this motor. I remember a guy spent thousands on head work and other mods to only get about 12 hp. Even forced induction it is very difficult to make HP. without a great tune and a built motor.

I'm considering this, but it's a bit low on the list right now. $ / performance, I still need to get:

- pistons sent out for coating
- connecting rods
- bearings
- boost controller
- Greddy intercooler upgrade

Maybe after that, if they're still available. I'm wondering if the turbo intake tubing would need to be modded since right now it bolts to the stock mani.

I feel ya i wouldn't do it till you have all that done. I could benefit from this ALOT. Im sure it should give me another 8- 10 WHP and i don't doubt that, but at this point i have alot of other things i have to do with my car before shelling out 600 for the intake manifold.

I don't believe it's the motor that's really restrictive on huge HP gains with FI. It's the stock ECU in my Tuner's opinion. Although I brought compression down to 9:1, he still had to advance timing a LOT to reach peak torque. At 10psi, timing was advanced a mere 3 degrees.... so, so much for retarding on boost. I just wish someone would hack these damn Toyota ECU's already! Unfortunately my Tuner was going through a learning curve with eManage Ultimate and ran out of time before we could figure out how to clamp MAF voltage. My goal was to get it tuned at 15 psi with the stock manifold, but only got to 9.5 before exceeding MAF voltage. I intend to to buy this manifold merely for the fact that it's metal and not plastic. With the mani and a bigger TB, and 700cc injectors I believe that HUGE gains will be achieved with FI. Can't wait to get it on the dyno again!!

We could go harass Paul to get Dezod to release a plug-n-play AEM EMS for the 1NZ-FE like they have for the 2AZ. Not sure if they'd put in the R&D for a low volume item but it wouldn't hurt to ask. Maybe they could use yours as the test car xa007xa.

Oh, and I finally ordered rods, but will probably be going with a Dezod IC used on the 365 Motorwerks kit instead of the Greddy IC. Just need to mod the turbo to IC piping to fit my turbo.

I'd like to redo my IC piping too... be nice to get 2.5' piping but aint got no room.... i'd also recommend a custom oil feed line to the turbo, i don't trust greddy too much anymore.

Yeah, was looking at the 36" oil feed from Dezod as well, just need to verify the fitting sizes. xB has the luxury of extra room under the hood for piping rerouting. Also, on the vertical IC, inlet and outlet face the driver side so no mucking with the washer fluid reservoir or worrying about getting too close to the belt.
