need help ASAP!
Ok, so i decided to add one of those chrome terminals to my battery to clean up that side of the engine bay a bit. Its one of the ones that you can put multiple grounds into rather than tapping at the top of a post. This one just bolts right to the post itself and has different size holes for different size wires coming off the ground post.
Well, now i just tried to start up my engine and it kind of puttered like the MAF was bad. I let it idle for a bit and it jumped around a lot. Then i jumped in teh car and reved up a bit and it would NOT go past 3 grand. It stops right at it and just acts like its rev limiting right at 3.
Does anyone know what might be causing this? Im supposed to be at work in a couple hours so i gotta get this fixed asap. I'm going back out to the garage right now to put the cables back to the way they were stock and try it again.
Any ideas would be really really helpful.

Man Justin... I don't know what to tell you...
Have you reset the ECU?
When you installed the ground post, did you accidentally bridge your intake to the battery? That could mess the MAF up pretty nicely.

Hey whats up?
Yea I tried leaving the neg cable off the terminal for 10 min then putting it back on then starting up the car again and it still did the same thing.
Lol, no def didnt bridge the intake with the battery. Atleast i hope i didnt.

yea, and put it back to stock and im still having the same problem. I did find a small slit in my intake coupler(rubber piece that goes from the throttle body to the short ram piping. I wish i had some more of that coupling to try and replace that and see if thats causing a vacuum problem. I dont think thats it though because that slit didnt just happen, its been there, just wasnt as noticable.

Have you tried putting the stock battery terminal back on?
Did you perhaps short out the maf when you were putting the terminal on? If you touched a side to the metal intake or something you could have blown out the MAF

I have put the stock battery terminal back on since and it still has the problem. I dont believe that the ground wire touched the side of the metal intake. I'll swing by autozone to pick up a new MAF this morning and I'll try swapping them to see if thats the problem.
Thanks
