NEWS: the SPFR intake is awesome!!

all good (and bad) tuners have a bad reputation. i don't know why, but they do. turboxs, cobb, vishnu, easystreet, pruven, etc. i guess no matter what they do, there are people who aren't happy.
anyway, i'm so sick of dyno numbers. so i will try not to quote them anymore. front wheel dyno time is cheap (compared to AWD) so i'm sure we will get some good comparison tests coming in the near future. can't wait.
is vishnu planning on doing anything for the scions? XEDE or anything? i got an SAFC-II but i suck at tuning it.

I said it before, and I'll say it again: these motors need to breath!!! And wait till we get beyond the regular int/exh bolt-on stuff... I think we'll see some nice numbers coming out of these little 1.5s.... well, relatively nice. >HAHA< :)

to install the exhaust, you just cut the stock pipe right before the resonator and then clamp on the new one. anyone can do it with a hacksaw and socket set. so it is a cat back system since it bolts on right after the cat. all the other exhausts right now are pretty much just mufflers which don't do much for performance.
stylis has a full catback exhaust, although i have no idea how much power it adds.

THE SOUND TEST WAS DONE BEFORE THE INTAKE WAS INSTALLED. AND THEN AFTER THE INTAKE WAS INSTALLED WE HAD THE SAME SOUND, IT CAME IN AT 88 DB'S EVEN. THE WAY THE TEST IS DONE FOR SOUND IT DID NOT MATTER IF THE INTAKE WAS ON OR OFF.... TO ALL THE DOES NOT KNOW ME I AM NOT YELLING DUDE...

Hey,man! I have a manifold back exhaust system. J/K but no seariously, I have a manifold back exhaust system, so you don't have to cut anything and just bolts right on to the manifold. I still have to dyno it though, I've been lagging on that. Busy at work you know.
and right now i do have the SPFR exhaust on my xA to do some testing and there is a difference between the auto's and the stick's by way of sound........... gonna have to do some more testing to get things right....................
and the intake is $249.95 not the exhaust system, just to clear things up
