Default Oil Pressure Gauge

I have a 1st gen xB and was contemplating installing an oil pressure and water temp gauge in it. I know the water temp one will be fairly easy, but can anyone help with a suitable location to get oil pressure from? I will be getting an electric gauge as well if that helps. I was wondering if I could do this without having to buy a sandwich plate for the oil filter(if anyone even makes them). Thanks in advance for any and all help.

Rumor has it that the oil pressure switch is under the center of the intake manifold and you can T off of that to add your sender unit. If you search you should be able to find photos here. I bought a mechanical gauge but never connected it due to the possibility of leaks.
