VAFC's Rock! They do help you gain lost powerback as long as it is tuned properly. The VAFC is a must have when you have atleast the basic mods done.
I hope this VVT-i contoller will be able to produce similiar results on modified Scions.

if it was tested on a GTS that means it was tested on VVTi-L which no Scion has. . . I doubt it will make a huge difference on standard VVT-i. . . VVTi-L is closer to what VTEC is than VVT-i
